Rainy Days and Open Campus

It has been a gloomy, rainy week here, and my energy has matched that. So, for the last couple of days, I've focused on what I can do from the comfort of my chair next to the open window, with the sound of rain coming in while cuddled in my blanket. This means I've been reviewing SQL videos, reading "Becoming a Data Head," and exploring job postings and advice from my phone. One of the bright sides of not having found a job yet is that I can take these soft moments and enjoy them.

There is something I've really been looking forward to, though. Maven Analytics is hosting an open campus event, which means I was able to dive more into the "Thinking Like an Analyst" course that I started in my free account.

Yes, I fully plan to upgrade, but I haven't yet. If I was on the fence, this would have solidified it.

I love the structure of the Maven Courses. It makes perfect sense to me and is just the right amount of detail, as well as guided and then independent practice with solutions that follow.
