Map Academy - Exploring Data

Today I watched Map Academy's video - Explore and think BEFORE you map! while waiting for some ✨magical computer processing✨ to happen. It was a great reminder of the importance of exploring, verifying, and handling data. Identifying outliers, verifying coordinates, exploring the attributes, and making sure things look right before spending time mapping the data.


It's always good to be reminded of foundational skills for data, and whether you are using geospatial data or not, exploring data is an essential step before analysis.
