PowerBI Assignment 1

Today I continued my dive into Power BI, so far I've made it through Assignment 1.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: I feel like Maven Analytics provides the perfect mixture of high-level overview and insight into the details.

As I finished watching the instructional videos and made it to my own assignment, I had a moment of "what, I have no idea what that means." However, upon opening and working on the assignment, I found that with my understanding of tools in Excel, I was easily able to locate and successfully use tools such as Add Column and Extract certain information.

Already I feel like this was much easier to do in Power BI and I look forward to continuing to learn what other tricks it has up its sleeves!
