Power BI Data Models pt.2

Today I finished the "Creating a Data Model" section of the Power BI course.

This included covering topics such as flow, filters, hiding fields from report view, using model layouts, the difference between data types and data formats, and creating hierarchies.

I think the most difficult part of this was understanding the flow. I mean, in theory I get it; but when it came to the assignment to recreate a view and locate the problem, I felt a bit lost. I understood it once I watched the video, but I'll definitely be noting that as something to get more experience/practice with.

Next up in the course is learning about DAX! Which I've seen many places but have zero (known) experience with.
