Even More QGIS Things Learned!

Since my previous post, I've continued on with the Udemy Map Academy courses, and wow! I didn't realize how much more I would learn, including:

  • The ATLAS feature exists, and I think I'll be able to use it to streamline some of my work!

  • You can change the page color of your project

  • How to avoid duplicate labels on lines, such as roads or rivers

  • How to add a new line to a label

  • Adding a map to your clipboard

  • Using OSM to create a mask of an area

  • Using expressions to do even MORE! Changing opacity, symbology, etc.

Thanks again to Alasdair Rae for the great courses on Udemy!

Looks like there's also a channel on YouTube, which I'll be checking out at some point to see if it has more/different content.
